Ethiopia Sidamo - Kabado Dara Mill Washed

An absolutely amazing washed Ethiopian Sidamo coffee! 

Light floral tea-like aroma with cinnamon, apricot and jasmin.  Apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, mango and more tropical fruit flavours up front.  Chocolate, blackberry and spice in the background.  A light to moderate, smooth fruity body with a rounded acidity that balances perfectly.

This coffee is from the Kabado Dara mill in the Kabado region of Sidamo, just north of Yirgecheffe, and very close to Dilla.  This is a washed coffee from the mill, who also prepare a sun-dried version.  The mill processes the harvest from the local region of about 600 small farms growing Typica at 1800-2200m altitude.  The coffee is generally grown in semi-forest with plenty of shade and wildlife around.
