Guariroba Espresso

£9.00 (250g)

Notes of pineapple, cashew & chocolate

A lovely easy drinking coffee with a creamy mouthfeel, the Guariroba is well balanced with medium acidity. We get notes of pineapple, cashew and chocolate.

The Guariroba is a Direct Trade coffee that we selected after our first ever trip to Brazil in 2016. We loved it and having being buying from grower Homero Paiva ever since.

Homero draws upon a long heritage of coffee production. He represents the 5th generation, and a new one is already following in the family’s footsteps.

Homero’s uncle, Fernando Paiva, a wise and visionary man of now 90 years, started to produce good quality coffees in the 1940s. At that time, he saw the potential of the Santo Antônio do Amparo region for specialty natural coffees. And he was right. After many years, Homero Paiva started his own coffee production on the same farm that he grew up on. Today they focus on specialty coffees with a sustainable approach to farming.
